Katahua Icaro
To give you an idea of the meanings of the Icaros, I will translate one. It has been sung in a mix of Spanish, Quechua and vibrational sounds. The language is very simple and literal.
This Icaro is the Katahua Icaro. It's primarily used in the tradition that I have been taught in, at the beginning of a ceremony. It is used to open up the visionary space and open psychic vision. It calls in what we term ‘mareacion’. Mareacion refers to an energy that is called into the ceremony from the trees that creates an altered state of consciousness. It also calls upon the energy of the Cielo Ayahuasca. The Icaro sets the intention, that the space be one of healing and medicine.
